Starting from the center of Roddi in the direction of Bra slightly downhill, after a few meters turn left down for the riding club Elia, for about 1 km you follow the dirt road and then turn left along a hazel grove and after 300 meters flat in the hazel grove take a steep uphill path that connects with the asphalted road in the village Toetto.
Turn left onto the asphalt road until you reach the beginning of the dirt road toward Verduno, the route continues along a sandy pathway for 1 km; this is followed by 500 metres of asphalt road, wich brings you to the small village of Castagni.

When you reach the chapel of Madonna di Loreto turn right onto a dirt track that will take you to the sports fields in La Morra.

Turn left here and continue for about 1 km to arrive at Piazza Castello, wich offers spectacular views over the Langa.

The route continues down an asphalt road that later becomes a dirt track, taking you through the main cru vineyards of Barolo (Brunate, La Serra, Fossati, Case Nere); on your right you will see Castello della Volta.

From the valley floor you go up a steep asphalt road that will bring you to the outskirts of Barolo.

 

From Barolo pedal along the Castle walls you continue down to the valley floor along a dirt track through vineyards and poplar plantations until you reach the road. Here you turn left and continue for 100 m. to then turn right towards La Morra; after 150 m. turn right into the vineyards and continue on to Annunziata where you will find the Benedectine monastery of San Martino.

 


Continue along the crest of the hill turning right onto an asphalt road passing the famous cedar of Lebanon at the summit of Monfalletto.Turn left and descend through the vineyards into a wide valley until you reach the hamlet of Santa Maria on hill opposite you. Continue along the asphalt road until you reach the hamlet of Silio in the opposite valley. Then turn right onto a road that becomes a dirt track after around 1 km and leads you to Ciocchini, another tract of asphalt (about 1,5 km) offers stunning views over Roddi. Turn right onto the dirt road pedalling along the valley floor and take the last steep incline to reach the village of Roddi
