First route

From Dogliani take the asphalt road for Monchiero (km 6), at the end of this village turn right following the road marking for Monforte, go up for about 800 metres and turn right onto a very steep gravel road that goes up to the charming old village of Monchiero Alto, passing alongside the cemetery, go down toward the hamlet of Bagnaschi and then turn right into a dense wood on the valley floor to then go back up near cascina Benevella.
Continue along the crest of the hill on the asphalt road for around 1,3 km passing in front of the country chapel of San Sebastiano, turn left onto a dirt track pedaling through chestnut and oak tree woods and then back onto the asphalt near cascina Botte.
After around 500 metres you will come to a crossroads, continue straight on, and after the hamlet of Benenti, go up to Monforte along the main road.
From Monforte go down the main road until you come to the hamlet of San Giuseppe, carry on along the panoramic road that leads through old farmhouses and brings you to cascina Manera, then follow the path until you reach the valley floor, from here go back up towards the hamlet of Torricella (km 20), from here you continue along the sandy road along the crest of the hill.
From the hamlet of Torricella continues on a small road that alternates asphalt and dirt track until the village of Dogliani.

 

Second route

Difficulty level: difficult


 

the itinerary can be extended of other 10 km for a total of 40 km, from Dogliani towards the road that brings to Monforte and after 3 km from the crossroads follow the steep dirt track of the Bergamino through the vineyards until the hamlet of Castella and it passes for a group of farmsteads until località Serra.
We take the asphalt road of Valdibà passing in front of the church of San Bartolomeo, when the road starts to descend you will find a path through the woods leads to the provincial road to Cissone.
Following the road markings it goes down for to crossing the stream Ravaiolo and crossed a field go up on a path between woods and chestnut trees until the provincial road for Pianezzo.
Passing near some farmhouses you reach the summit of the hill of St. Martin, after the old school and the church you begin to descend to valley towards the provincial road Dogliani-Somano.
